Petcurean remains uniquely mission driven; we are extremely selective about our ingredients, dedicated to our quality core values, unwavering to our demanding quality standards and most recently committed to a sustainable long-term environmental program that supports the likes of local farmers and fruit growers. Today we are minimizing processing while maximizing nutrition with fresh, locally grown ingredients .
Our passion and determination for quality has helped form the pet food company we are today. Thanks to our quality suppliers, employees, families, distributors, retailers, consumers and most importantly our four footed family friends we continue to lead the way in healthier nutrition one bag at a time! We select healthy ingredients locally and are committed to farmers who produce quality, home-grown eggs, meats, berries, fruits and vegetables. These exceptional components are the foundation and make-up of our fine foods. We continue to strive to select the highest quality, healthiest, least processed, and of course the most flavourful ingredients available. Our family of employees are people who truly care about the well-being of pets and relate to consumers concerns and needs as pet parents. We are all pet guardians, and can appreciate the compassion and love we get from our canine and feline companions. As important it is to make the healthiest pet food, we strongly believe it is our company’s responsibility to take care of our earth for our children and their pets.On every level of our company we are looking for ways to be more environmentally conscious.We actively support local farmers which helps reduce long distance vehicle emissions while supporting our commitment to fresher ingredients. Bio-degradable show bags made from starch, the use of electric forklifts, a comprehensive recycling program for paper, plastics, cardboard and glass is a daily practice within our company, along with a concerted minimization of the over usage of natural resources. It is our goal by the year 2010 to convert our entire fleet of company vehicles to more environmentally friendly hybrid vehicles to reduce our carbon footprint. In 2008, we made our strongest commitment to making a difference by teaming up with our packaging suppliers to begin work on developing the first recyclable pet food bag. And today, our product brochures and coupons are all printed on FSC certified paper (either from previously recycled paper or sourced from companies conducting responsible forest practises.) It is our goal and mission to change the way pet food is made and supported, with a conscious effort in minimizing the impact our industry places on our planet.
