We’ve always been obsessed with going the extra mile. But, it’s not enough to just create new recipes. Our foods have to do better than that; our foods have to help pets stay healthy and happy, for life.

We wouldn’t be where we are today without the pet people, pet advocates and pet parents that make up our team. Being Canadian, we don’t like to brag, but we think we have a pretty special pack here at Petcurean. Some of us have been here since day one and some have joined along the way, but one thing that’s consistent is our unwavering dedication to dogs and cats and cats and dogs. Like good pet parents we know it’s important to make time for play, and we wear the pet hair on our shirts as a badge of honour. It’s safe to say our people stick around, so we must be doing something right.

It’s not just our people that count. Our philosophy of putting pets first has grown through the unwavering support of neighbourhood pet specialty store owners and clerks and the many, many pet parents who trust us to nourish their dogs and cats for life. We never tire of hearing from our extended family. Whether it’s a loyal lifer, or someone that recently discovered the impact that proper pet nutrition can make, it always puts a smile on our faces and a skip in our step to know that we’ve made a difference, however big or small. The trust we share with neighbourhood pet specialty stores, who are the pet experts in their local communities, is a huge part of that.

Since day one, we’ve always advocated for dogs and cats in need as a foundation of our mission to put pets first. We’ve been supporting rescue and shelter pets for the last 20 years and will do so for the next 20 years, and beyond! Whether it’s food donations or our time, we try to help those hard-working pet lovers on the frontlines whenever and wherever we possibly can. Giving is part of the DNA here at Petcurean and has been passed down throughout each generation of the team. It’s a gift in itself to be able to give so much back to our community.
