The amount of food your dog needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Use our feeding chart as a guide, adjusting the quantity fed to achieve your dog’s ideal weight. We suggest feeding twice a day, puppies more often. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Regular exercise will help maintain a healthy body weight. Love, attention and tummy rubs should be given freely, as often as possible.

I love it, but....
I love Petcurean. Next to Orijen and Acana its probably My favourite brand of food. I work at a petstore and often reccomend the brand's to customers because of it being a canadian brand and because of all the different options. My 7 month old Anatolian Shepherd x Bull Mastiff Lab mix is picky with kibble size. She hated Blue puppy because the bits were so tiny and she kept stealing my other dogs adult kibble. So I came across NOW large breed. And she loves it, But her stool fluctuates between liquid mush to diarrhea to incredibly solid logs. But mostly it has been diarrhea, especially in the evenings. The colour of the stool is never a typical colour, its a light olive colour and has been as such for the past month and a half while on the NOW large breed puppy. I've implemented pumpkin and GO fish based wet food into her diet and the reslut has not changed. She loves the food, but it makes her tummy a little funky.

Something’s Wrong
Our two golden retriever pups, 6 months old non related, had done well on this diet, then suddenly halfway through the most recent bag they developed diarrhea. We got them solidified with fasting and boiled hamburger and rice, but the moment the kibble was reintroduced the diarrhea came back. I’m very concerned about quality control now. How can a food cause an issue partway through?

Love it!
Love it! At 6 months, our German Shepherd stopped eating her kibble, and didn't seem interested in anything else we brought home for her. Thankfully we were recommended to try this, and she loves it. It was so great to see her excited about mealtimes again.

Happy Puppy
Our 4 month old berner, Rogue, loves it! She really liked the regular puppy mix, but when we transitioned her to large breed puppy we were amazed that she loved it even more! Consistent bowel movements and tasty, fresh kibble = a happy puppy! Would highly recommend.

What a difference!
My 6 month Rottie pup has had loose stools on and off since I got him. 2 days on this food and the problem was gone. Highly recommended.

No more upset tummy troubles!
After trying Orijen and some other puppy foods finally no more loose stools for our five month old Bernedoodle. She loves it and it seems to agree perfectly with her digestive system. Am super happy with this product!

Happy pup, Happy life
Our giant schnauzer pup Kona had trouble with many different brands of dog food. Luckily, we were recommended this food after Orijen, Arcana, and Nature's Variety all gave her loose stools. Her appetite is back and her coat, teeth and overall health is much better!

No more loose stools!
Our Golden Retriever puppy has had loose stools since we got him at 8 weeks old. We have tried many foods and had no luck. Once we switched him to Now Fresh, his stools have harden and has not had loose stool since. With other foods we has issues with odors coming from his pores, but all good with Now Fresh!

Fixed Tummy Issues
Our boxer lab mix had been having issues with loose stools since we got him. We tried Orijen, Acana, and a few other foods with no luck (plus many vet visits, one in which he threw up and had an allergic reaction from the food the vet tried him on). After reading about other dogs with similar issues who did well on Now Fresh we decided to give it a shot. Shortly after starting him on it his stools firmed up, plus he absolutely loves the food! We recently started him on the adult food and he's doing great on that as well! Highly recommended. Thank you petcurean for helping us to finally solve our very frustrating stomach issues!

Fantastic ! Food !
Our Bull Mastiff Lab mix pup is 7 months old. He has had soft since we got him ,not really formed. Also last week a bout of diareah .... That we had to go to the vet. The store that we get his food from which is high quality is just to rich for him. The store manager has told me for a while to switch but I've been nervous because I didn't want potty problems. Well since we have them now why not transition now. We did and it's like night and day on this food, we should have switched ages ago to large breed puppy! It is so important for this pup to be healthy he is in training for our daughter for a medical alert dog for diabetes!!! We couldn't be happier. Our cat is on there cat food as well........ Thank you Now Large Breed Puppy! Happy puppy and Family....

Love this food!
After trying numerous other high-end foods including Orijen and Acana, our puppy still had extremely soft stools. After speaking with the owner of our local pet food store, he recommended Now Fresh Large Breed Puppy food, as many of his customers had had success with it. Well, it worked for us, too! No more soft stools, and our dog is now over a year old and is healthy and doing well. We will definitely be continuing to use this brand, and have recommended it to many others.
