I’m an old soul who was loved while I lived on the streets for five years, then heartbroken once the kind lady who was feeding me passed away, leaving no one to care for me. Fortunately, someone found me at my ‘home’, took me to a shelter and got me all cleaned up. I had a mouth full of broken and infected teeth and tested positive for FIV. Now my 4-toothed smile is movie-star charming and I get along with anyone I meet – cats, dogs, humans – I’ll head bop them all!

12 years of hard living on the streets has taught me there’s magic in the world. But it wasn’t the street that taught me that – it was the rescue people that took me in. I was haggard, toothless, infected and FIV positive. But they decided that I deserved a chance. I was so nervous at my foster house, that I wished I could wave my wand and become invisible. I’ve wizened up since then and realize I really need a furever human of my very own – someone who’ll look past my rough disguise and see my sweet soul underneath.

I might look a little ornery, but I’m actually sweeter than pie! I have a few challenges that might scare off a few people, but I just really want to share my love. I’m 15 years young and need some extra attention since I have a spinal issue. But that doesn’t stop me! Even my chiropractor is impressed 😉 After years of being scared and fending for myself, I just want to lavish my love and sweetness on someone. Can you and I spend our days together?

It’s so nice to meet you! I’m often overlooked, and tons of my friends get adopted before me. I still don’t know why though – I mean, I understand that kittens are cute and playful, but I’m playful too! I tell my friends that, but then I get bullied. Maybe it’s my whiskers – they are quirky. But that’s just who I am. I have fun with friends, but can you teach me to stand up to bullies?

My foster mom tells me I’m SO BRAVE for battling my anxiety every day. My anxiety got the best of me one day and I became fixated on my tail! You can’t blame me though, sometimes it looks like a toy. How cool! A built-in toy. One day, it was going back and forth, and back and forth, so I decided enough was enough. Well, now I have half a tail, and learnt my lesson the hard way. My anxiety is something I’m working on, so I hope you’ll love me for me – outgoing, playful, chillaxin’ me.

I’m an orange and white cutie with so much love to give. I’m pretty shy when meeting new people, but once I get to know you, I’m quite the social butterfly. I’ll make sure to climb out from under my blankets if you come and visit me! I’ve been waiting patiently for NINE long years though. I know my fabulous furever family is out there and the wait will be worth it – I just hope they find me soon. Maybe it’s you?!

Get to know me
Hello! Let’s get to know each other – I’ll go first! Once upon a time, I had long luscious locks. And I mean luscious… Moving from a hoarder house, and then to a crowded impound… you can imagine what that’ll do to a guy’s coat. Matts and tangles, that’s what! It was uncomfortable and painful, so when I was rescued, they had to give me a lion cut. I’m already really shy and now on top, I feel naked! I’m still really handsome though – right?!

From day one, it’s always been the two of us. We lived on the street with our mom up until she couldn’t take care of us anymore, so now we’re always there for one another! Especially when Cayenne’s ear polyps get irritated…we just cuddle up together and are perfectly content. Our special bond is what makes us unique, so we need to stay together. Think of us as Richie & Joanie Cunningham or Monica & Ross Geller: a dynamic sibling duo that’s stronger together. We’re sweet as sugar and although we’re seniors we still have a mountain of love to give.

It all started when I was just a skinny little kitty, scouring the streets for any scraps I could find. My eye was hurt pretty badly, but I don’t really remember how. Fortunately, a kind person noticed me and brought me to a shelter. They fixed me up and now I only have one eye! I think it’s a cool look! Turns out, I’m also heartworm positive, but with no active symptoms, so paws crossed it stays that way. Now I just want to live life to the fullest and spend it with a very special human like you.

I’ve been told I’m beautiful, majestic, silly and funny! And social – I love cats and humans of all kinds! It hasn’t been an easy journey for me though. For a while, you couldn’t see my beautiful blue eyes because I was covered in a bacterial infection. Now I have a few life-long medical needs, like idiopathic facial dermatitis, and need medicine applied to my face every day. It’s a little hard on my liver, but with supplements, it’s no prob at all! It helps me FEEL and LOOK much better, so it’s all worth it. We’d have so much fun together! I just know it.

I’m a sweet and mellow kitty, and absolutely love making biscuits – especially when I’m happily getting love. I’m an evacuee from the Sonoma fires and have been at the shelter for a long time. The outgoing cats get all the attention and I’m always overlooked. I’m quite the lap cat and I know ALL the cozy spots, so cuddling up is my favorite. I also know that being FIV positive doesn’t get me down, because I can still live a normal happy life! Will you make biscuits with me?

You can call me Sully! Sully the Softie – that’s me. I’m just looking for someone to spend my time with. I’m a very gentle soul, have a sweet demeanor, and I love to love – despite having lived a hard life on the streets. I can make friends with just about anyone. There’s always room in my heart for more love! I have FIV but I still love with an open heart and trust in the goodness of others. And from the bottom of my heart, I believe my forever home is out there. Will you let me in YOUR heart?
